In 2011, company established, construction of a new comprehensive office building and VRF plant with a total investment of 200 million yuan started;
2012
In 2012, it was awarded the title of "High-tech Enterprise" and the "DC Inverter Central Air Conditioner" was launched;
2013
In 2013, the new R&D comprehensive office building and VRF workshop were completed and put into use;
2014
In 2014, won the title of Guangdong Famous Brand Product;
2015
Giwee won the “Guangdong Engineering Technology Research Center” award and the
“Upgrade Enterprise Technology Center” award.
2017

2018
Giwee was awarded as the “2018 Industrial Taxation Enterprise with Over 100 Million
Yuan”. Additionally, the testing center successfully obtained the CNAS national accreditation
certificate.
2019
The equity change was completed, and the company achieved independent ownership. At the
same time, the new generation DC inverter VRF CHV-Pro was launched.
2020
In 2020, Giwee company was established, released GCHV and GIWEE brand, moving towards a group, multi-brand and business transformation development mode.
2021
Giwee company becomes a subsidary of Carrier Company

Giwee has a high-quality technical team consisting of over 300 individuals, including senior
Japanese technical experts who serve as consultants. The testing center at its headquarters is
equipped with a comprehensive laboratory, an enthalpy difference room, a working condition
room, and a long-term product reliability operation room.
A total of 28 laboratories have received CNAS national certification, and their testing
capabilities, as well as their advanced technology, have reached an industry-leading level in
HVAC. Giwee collaborates with prestigious institutions such as Central South University, Xi’an
Jiaotong University, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and South China
University of Technology to develop new products and technologies. Additionally, Giwee has
filed for over 1,000 patents, including nearly 300 invention patents.
